runway report: whit

We thought with fashion week in full force and our impending trip to NYC only a week away we would do our own little review of some of our favourites. First up, Whit!

Whit presented an easily wearable assortment "for those who like their fashion with a bit of fun." - Yes, we certainly do. As she often does, Pozgay looked to travel for inspiration and this season drew upon the whimsical folklore and mid-century modernity of Scandinavia for the prints and palette.

Small-spotted calf-hair Chelsea boots—one of several styles in Whit's first season of footwear, (yay!) produced with Jacques Levine will definitely be on our must have list and we can't wait to see what other styles Whit has dreamed up.

Models were accessorized with not only her new shoe collection but also Warby Parker sunglasses and swinging pendants from Lizzie Fortunato. We love how our designers compliment each other so well and to see such interesting collaborations always inspires us.

Here are a few of our favourite looks from the show.

Good news, Whit's spring collection is on-route! We will report back once we've had a chance to touch, try on and see in person.
