MEET THE DESIGNER: SUNJA LINK
Where do you gather your inspiration from?
All over. I'm an avid people watcher. I particularly like old people's style. As well Historical fashion excites me. The clothing from the 30's was amazing, the silhouettes were perfect, and really interesting fabrications.
What's your go to outfit for feeling chic?
Anything navy! As well I go for comfort, no matter what. I try to make all my dresses comfortable to wear. I know it's been said before, but confidence is what stands out. So if someone feels comfortable, they will feel confident and look good. And my favourite skirt length is mid calf, worn with tights.
Describe your design aesthetic for your home?
Eclectic and minimal at the same time. I love colour and texture and avoid "modern". I'm always looking for quality pieces that seem timeless but are a bit unusual. I'm a fan of craftsmanship.
What's the best career advice you've ever received?
Don't take anything personally.
What's your favourite dinner to make when it's just yourself?
Toast and cashew butter.
Your can't live without it beauty product?
It's not a product but facials and my favourite place is Breathe Spa in Vancouver, nothing compares. And for a product, face Moisturizer. I've tried tons of brands but always end up going back to Neutrogena.
